June 17th, 2010 8:06 AM Wed,Jun 16,2010 - 3:19 PM ET US Senate approves amendment to extend closing deadline for homebuyer tax credit to Sept 30, 2010 for contracts signed by April 30, 2010.   Now the measure also has to pass the House.
